Greetings and welcome to the home of the Environmental Geochemistry group at the University of Waikato. Why a blog? Well we get up to so much cool stuff! Much more than gets into the usual outputs of academia. I’m thinking research papers, conference proceedings, posters.. (you get the message). Sometimes when we write about science it can get pretty.. well dull. Or at least not super accessible to your average person. So hopefully the same won’t be said about this site. We will share the goods on where we’ve been, what we’ve been doing, and why. Like I said, we get up to some pretty awesome stuff. In fact, I reckon we’ve got it pretty sweet here in NZ. It’s a great place to study the environment, and we are only getting started..
